Project summary
This residential roof replacement in Springborough involved removing the existing asphalt shingles and installing a new Malarkey Vista roofing system in Weathered Wood. The roof has several intersecting sections with pitches ranging from 4/12 to 12/12, along with multiple hips, valleys and wall connections that required careful layout during installation. New shingles, ridge caps, starter shingles, vents and metal flashings were installed throughout to complete the new roof installation.
• Removed the existing asphalt shingle roofing and exposed the roof deck for review • Installed Malarkey Vista shingles in Weathered Wood • Installed Malarkey Smart Start along the roof edges • Completed hips and ridges with matching Malarkey EZ Ridge XT cap shingles • Installed new black roof vents, plumbing vent components and chimney-related flashings • Installed new black drip edge, rake edge and valley flashing across the roof system
