Project summary
The existing shingles were heavily weathered and showing consistent granule loss across multiple slopes, especially around the front garage section and ridge transitions. We stripped the roof down and rebuilt the system with upgraded materials, tying all sections together so the roof runs clean and consistent across the different elevations. Venting was updated during install and all exposed edges and transitions were reworked in black to match the new system. The finished roof lines up properly with the structure and gives the home a much more uniform look from street level.
• Removed damaged vinyl siding across affected elevations • Inspected wall sheathing and prepped surface for new install • Installed building wrap and sealed seams Installed metal flashing at windows, doors, and horizontal transitions • Installed Hardie board siding with consistent exposure across walls Installed Hardie trims at corners, windows, and vertical transitions • Reinstalled and sealed around vents, fixtures, and penetrations • Completed caulking and final tie-ins to adjacent materials
